The maximum width of the content area is 750 pixels. This is an example of a banner that goes across the full width of the content region. The width should always be 750 pixels, but the height can be anything you want.
This is an example of a banner that uses half the screen on desktop, but full screen on a smaller device, such as a small tablet or phone. The image still needs to be 750 pixels wide because it becomes full width on smaller devices.
On smaller screens, this text appears above the image.
The important thing to remember is that you don't want to go too small with image based text. This is more of a problem with full size banners because they become very small on a phone. View this page in a phone to see the difference.
