Both the box and straw are reusable and the sliding cover on box gives you easy access to the straw and included cleaning brush. Hand washing recommended.
Wheat straw polypropylene is sustainable, and renewable. Comprised of 20-30% reclaimed wheat stock = less plastic and petroleum used. Gluten allergen friendly; not extractable. Lasts for many years, but will degrade in as little as 1 year in a landfill.
